Leisure Co we are a not for profit company that aims to provide Accessible Leisure services and coming soon our new short break service.
Tara Johnson, the company founder is a working mother of two children suffers with Cerebral Palsey and knows first hand often how frustrating it can be to access simple leisure activities such as swimming, fitness or a holiday with her family. Tara also works in Community engagement within South Tyneside and many families have told her of the barriers they also face when having a disability and trying to access services.
In 2019, Tara and her team of specialists in Health and Care have set out to address some of these barriers with unique services including our bespoke built garden spa therapy service, our Sit to be Fit home exercise programme and coming soon our short break facility.
