A family run business Established in 1997, based in Team Valley Trading estate, Gateshead and servicing all of Tyne and Wear. A true family run business, founded by Anthony Macari and handed over to Jay Macari in 2016 with many of the Macari family working in the business.

Originally the company was set up to manufacture small crates for fruit and based at the North East fruit and veg market, soon it became apparent that pallets were also key to this industry so we diversified.

Since Jay took over the daily running of the business, he has put a emphasis on young persons apprenticeships and developing the recycling and reuse of pallets from scrap. At any time we have 5 apprenticeships working in the repairs centre whilst gaining qualifications and work experience, This has significantly reduced pallets ending up in waste.

We currently handle several thousand pallets per week, holding large stocks of the most commonly used pallets but speciality pallets / packaging can be manufactured at short notice.

At Jaymac we have a repairs centre, this specialises in reconditioning pallets for reuse rather than them being treated as waste. This means we can often offer a revenue for repair pallets where others can not.

We operate a fleet of 6 vehicles so same day collections and deliveries are available. We have a waste carriers licence issued by the EA , all collections and deliveries are done with a waste transfer note, we can also provide a breakdown sheet with each load.
